Church news: Girl raped, forced to apologize before congregation.. then relocated & home schooled

Posted by doctore0 on May 31, 2010

Well at least they are doing what the bible wants.. per se; The bible says raped women must be stoned to death or marry the rapist… Hey “funny” how they are not against abortion when the rape victims get pregnant.. that’s religion for you.
Never trust faith-heads… they have accepted the fake bribe on the fake eternal life in fake eternal luxury with the fake tyrant in the sky

After being raped and impregnated by a fellow churchgoer more than twice her age, a 15-year-old Concord girl was forced by Trinity Baptist Church leaders to stand before the congregation to apologize before they helped whisk her out of state, according to the police.

While her pastor, Chuck Phelps, reported the alleged rape in 1997 to state youth officials, Concord police detectives were never able to find the victim. The victim said she was sent to another church member’s home in Colorado, where she was home-schooled and not allowed to have contact with others her age. It wasn’t until this past February that the victim, who is now 28, decided to come forward after reading about other similar cases, realizing for the first time it wasn’t her fault that she had been raped, she told the police.</em>

LAHORE, Pakistan — Pakistan lifted a ban on Facebook on Monday after officials from the social networking site apologized for a page deemed offensive to Muslims and removed its contents, a top information technology official said.

The move came almost two weeks after Pakistan imposed the ban amid anger over a page that encouraged users to post images of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad. Many Muslims regard depictions of the prophet, even favorable ones, as blasphemous.

“In response to our protest, Facebook has tendered their apology and informed us that all the sacrilegious material has been removed from the URL,” said Najibullah Malik, secretary of Pakistan’s information technology ministry, referring to the technical term for a Web page.

Vatican reaches out to atheists – but not Richard Dawkins

Posted by doctore0 on May 31, 2010

Don’t reach out for me.. I will be forced to cut off your dirty scumbag arm and stick it in your pearly gate… There is nothing to talk about; The catholic church is a criminal organisation, cancer on humanity.
The only talk we could ever have is about closing down this mafia…
————8<——-
The Vatican is planning a new initiative to reach out to atheists and agnostics in an attempt to improve the church’s relationship with non-believers. Pope Benedict XVI has ordered officials to create a new foundation where atheists will be encouraged to meet and debate with some of the Catholic Church’s top theologians.

The Vatican hopes to stage a series of debates in Paris next year. But militant non-believers hoping for a chance to set senior church figures straight about the existence of God are set to be disappointed: the church has warned that atheists with high public profiles such as Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens will not be invited.

The “Courtyard of the Gentiles”, as the foundation is known, is being set up by the Pontifical Council for Culture, the influential Vatican department that is charged with fostering better relations with non-Catholics. It was founded by Pope John Paul II in 1982 to spearhead his attempts to create a better dialogue with other cultures and faith, including those with no religion at all.

Pope refused defrocking of convicted priest

Posted by doctore0 on May 31, 2010

There is no end to the horrors from the oldest and largest paedophile ring in the world…
I’m saying the Christian dogma is a part of the sexual abuse… the priests rape children.. then go to their room and top of the experience by getting forgiveness from Jeebu$.. and some virgin Mary tit sucking…. Hooked on rape and forgiveness… face it.
————-8<————–
The future Pope Benedict XVI refused to defrock an American priest who confessed to molesting numerous children and even served prison time for it, simply because the cleric wouldn’t agree to the discipline.

The case provides the latest evidence of how changes in church law under Pope John Paul II frustrated and hamstrung U.S. bishops struggling with an abuse crisis that would eventually explode.

Documents obtained by The Associated Press from court filings in the case of the late Rev. Alvin Campbell of Illinois show Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, following church law at the time, turned down a bishop’s plea to remove the priest for no other reason than the abuser’s refusal to go along with it.

“The petition in question cannot be admitted in as much as it lacks the request of Father Campbell himself,” Ratzinger wrote in a July 3, 1989, letter to Bishop Daniel Ryan of the Diocese of Springfield, Ill.

With the church still recovering from a notable departure of priests in the 1970s to marry, John Paul made it tougher to leave the priesthood after assuming the papacy in 1978, saying their vocation was a lifelong one. A consequence of that policy was that, as the priest sex abuse scandal arose in the U.S., bishops were no longer able to sidestep the lengthy church trial necessary for laicization.

Spray me in the face sister… in the name of numbskull. 🙂

It might not be exactly what tired businessmen have in mind when they call for a special nun massage service, but this converted convent is making a fortune after reopening as a health spa.

The nuns turned to massage after their chicken breeding business fell flat.

Now the sisters at Marienkron Abbey in Monchhof, Austria, use their healing hands to sooth away the aches and pains of their customers.
