    The Bill of Rights is (part of) the Law of the US, and so it’s apropriate if it is displayed in a government building. The Declaration of Independence is not a legal document, but is as the foundational document of the US goverments also apropriate to display in such places. However the “ten” commandments are a religious documents, which contains elements which are in violation of US law. Given that the US has been founded as a secular nation, displaying them is in violation of the law of the nation.
