“There are many well-meaning creationists who have just been misinformed. It takes a good deal of time to come to a thorough understanding of a major scientific theory; and many just don’t have the luxury of investing enough. They often become the unwitting victims of a few charlatans, and of their own confirmation bias.”

I have currently been arguing with a creationist at work Doc. I have shown him transitional fossils, our DNA having the same genetic code as other animals showing our relationship with the animal kingdom, etc. He absolutely refuses to accept the evidence and says it makes no sense to him. He brings up the tired old Bio-genesis, thermodynamics shit.

I told him that I have given him the evidence and he can do with it what he wants. These people are not worth my time to argue with.

Good on this guy for actually sitting down and looking at the evidence though.

My co-worker says forcing women to have rapist babies is a “grey area”; also, gay marriage will make all gay and be the end of the human race.. Fucking crazy; He is totally normal and clever guy except in religious matters; strange huh
