ANCHORAGE – Christians like to say that Jesus is “the reason for the season.”
But a group of atheists say no time of year should be free from “pagan reverie.”
To that end, Anchorage city buses are carrying some very non-traditional Christmas messages. The Freedom From Religion Foundation of Madison, Wisconsin, has spent decades fighting for the secularization of America.

Merry Christmas! People would be amazed that 1) many non-Christians celebrate the holiday season and 2) many Christians unknowingly implement pagan traditions into their commemoration of the baby Jesus.

For me personally, yule/christmas/holiday means nothing but extra day(s) off work.. ohhh yea and putting up the Yule-tree for my Yule-cat

We call them yule tree/jóla tré over here; One would be considered lame/borderline crazy saying Christ.. tree
I have a yule-tree every yule, very nice and cozy.. + my cat loves climbing among the decorations
