Are US evangelicals exporting anti-gay views?

Gay rights has always been a divisive issue in American politics, with the religious right strongly promoting anti-gay policies. Conservative religious groups have played a major role in US politics for decades. They have also been seeking influence in other countries. But are they also exporting their conservative ideology to countries in sub-Saharan Africa?
